A small fix for the Facebook Video Virus

Restart Windows, press F8 during startup and enter fail safe mode
Go to Start menu, select Run and type regedit.
Click on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT to the left.
And then find Typelib. Then find {E63648F7-3933-440EB4F6-A8F84DD7B7EB}
Right click on that and select delete.
Please select search in the edit menu and search for 690974.dll and remove all that is refering to this. Just delete the folder within the {} brackets.
Go to c:\WINDOWS\System32 and delete the folder 690974
Now insert your windows install cd and boot from that and select install windows.
Then select repair and the install cd will repair your files.
Then run a virus protector to remove any additional virus this script has downloaded.

I have found that this fixes the problem, but I don't garantee that every aspect of the virus has been removed.

Use this at your own risk. Remember to backup before doing the repair.

To check that it haven't installed itself again, open explorer and go to the tools menu and select Manage Add-ons.
If the name 690974 is not present in one of the lines you have gotten rid of it. Congratulations. :)
